A central goal of the project is to transform Nagog Hill Orchard into a living classroom for ecological land stewardship.

Workshops and lectures will cover a wide range of subjects, including:
- plant identification
- woody plant propagation
- coppicing and pollarding
- hedge laying
- wildlife tracking
- wild food foraging
- primitive technologies
- basket weaving and plant fiber arts
These programs will be open to the public, with special sessions for local schools and community groups.
The lower barn on the property is ideally suited to become an indoor classroom space where visitors can learn about trees, ecosystems, and sustainable land management.
